Do I have to clean my room???

Some of my resolutions this year are to:

1. Clean my craft room

2. Keep my craft room clean

3. Make a lot more projects

So to start out, here is the before pictures of my room. In the next few days, I am going to be doing some hard-core cleaning. When I am done, I will post the "after" pictures!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Catch Up

I am sooo behind in my Secret Santa Gifts. I don't even have a good excuse, I have just been busy and playing catch up after Christmas.

I am really excited about the Prima flowers. They are in nuetral colors, which means it will be very easy to add color with ink to them! I am also really excited about the SU! Creamy Caramel ink pad. I have been wanting this pad for a very long time. I even have the ink refill, I just ever got the ink pad.

Thank You soooooo much Edee. I like the handmade notepad. This is going in my purse, I always carry some sort of paper to write things down. Thanks again, I loved being a part of this fun event!! Happy New Year!

Christmas Card #3

This is the last of my Christmas cards that I sent out this year. Again, I cased this (with some changes) from Angie over at the Chic n' Scratch blog. I didn't think that I cared for the River Rock cardstock from the '08 colors, but after I saw this card, I fell in looovve! I swished the sides of the card with some green ink and a sponge. This added just enough color to make the River Rock cardstock work for me. I think the River Rock cardstock would look good with any type of ink swished on the edges ~ now I just need to order more paper! Enjoy!

New Year, New Blog

Welcome to 2008! With the new year just a few days away, I decided to update my blog and add some brighter colors. (Well, bright as in blues and purples) Maybe I should say that I added cool colors, since I am sssoooooo cool! Anyway, my goal this new year is to post to my blog at least every other day. This will be a challenge at times, but I hope to keep up with it!

Christmas Card #2

This is the second Christmas card that I am sending out to family and friends. I actually got some of these in the mail today! Usually, I make the cards and end up not sending them out or sending them late!

I cased this card (with some changes of course) from Angie over at the Chic n' Scratch blog. Actually, all my cards I sent out this year were cased from her. I just didn't have the mojo on coming up with cards this year ~ maybe because I started clear back in September designing cards for my Christmas workshops! Oh Well, that's life. Now I just hope I don't receive any back because they are to bulky!

Supplies Used: Stamp Set: Season of Joy, Cardstock: whisper white, night of navy, and the new blue In-Color, can't think of it right now:) Ink: bashful blue, Accessories: night of navy marker, blue and silver ribbon, stickles (my fav)

Secret Santa Swap - Yes, another one!

These are the wonderful gifts I received from a Secret Santa Swap. I love the Fuffles card, these guys are soooo cute! The flowers will go great with some spring cards and scrapbook pages. I can never have enough glitter or ribbon, and I love the purple flower ribbon! The Bohemian package contains small, blue rhinestones ~ I had never seen these before. I am excited to use those as well. The stickers are fun too ~ again purples and blues, my favorite colors! Thanks STAMPINCRAZYJEN!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 7 - Found!

I found day's 7 present in my pile of messes. It's a good thing, I love these glitter colors!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 9

I love these rub-ons. The snowman is sooooo cute and I love the glitter on the smaller pieces!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 8

This picture does not do this paper justice. I received a package of very rich blue, deep red, green, white, and brown mulberry paper.

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 7

I have misplaced my day 7 gift. Once I find it, I will post the picture. That is pretty bad when I am even starting to lose gifts. Guess it is time to clean my craft room!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 6

More eyelets, this time in the bold bright color family!

Time Well Spent Notepad

Supplies Used: Stamp Set: Time Well Spent, Cardstock: very vanilla, Ink: brocade blue, perfect plum, mellow moss, pretty in pink, Accessories: Stampin' Pastel, watercolor pencils, purple ribbon, qtips, purple note pad, waterfall stickles, double stick tape

I love the new Time Well Spent stamp set that SU! sent all of us demonstators to prepare for the new cattie coming out in January. I stamped on the flower images using the different colors of ink. 24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 2

Yeah ~ glitter! I love using glitter on my creations, especially during the winter months!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Day 1

I love these charms. Some of the charms have words on them like cute and wild. These will be great for some spring and summer cards!

24 Days of Christmas ~ Pre-Gift

I love labs. I have a yellow lab named Maggie, who is the best little dog. We just got back from playing frisbee in the 18 degree weather and it was pretty windy. She is so cute and absoultely loves playing frisbee. As soon as we get up in the morning we have to play frisbee or she will pout all day. This lab mug filled with ribbon is ssoooo perfect! I received this from my "24 days of Christmas" pal. This was a pre-gift that I was able to enjoy as soon as I received my box.

Snowflake Ornament

Supplies Used: stamp sets: Warm Words, Ink: purely pomegranate, cardstock: brocade blue, whisper white, rose red prints designer series paper, Accessories: purely pomegranate double stitched ribbon, chipboard snowflake from Holiday Mini, pink, blue, and silver embossing powders mixed together.

I absolutely love the snow, which is probably one of the reasons I live in Wyoming. Tonight we are suppose to get 2 to 4 inches of new snow, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. There is no better time to get a lot of snow than on a Saturday. I don' t have to worry about leaving my house and I get some time for stamping. YEAH!

This is a project from a class I did earlier this month. We made an assortment of ornaments using the On Board Trimmings chipboard from the SU! Holiday Mini. I am so sad to see this mini catalog go, but it is time to move on to bigger and better things. (I hope) Only 1 month until the new catalog comes out. I love that SU! now releases a new cattie every 6 months. Anyway, I guess this is my official goodbye to the holiday mini~ It has been fun!

Snowman Post-It note holder

To kick off the Christmas season and in honor of the snow that finally fell to the ground, I decided to make a project using winter colors/images. I made a post-it note holder for my secret santa pal. I just love the holiday paper from the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding line. The paper I used is Shiver. The snowmen are sooooo cute! I also used Cold Play from SU! which is one of my favorites. I hope she likes it!

Welcome to my Blog!!

Thanks for Stopping By!!
